Surrounding Park Area: Nice area with tennis courts, baseball diamond, COVERED basketball court (only other time I’ve seen this is at Center Hill Park), lots of picnic tables, and several mature trees.

Seating: a few benches surrounding playground
Stroller/Wheelchair Access: Yes
Safety: There are a few opening where a child could be pushed out of, but they are not particularly high.
Cons: No bathrooms or water fountains.
Overall Assessment: This must be a popular playground structure, because I’ve already seen it at Brownwood Park and at Grove Park. Now all three of these have different colors, and I think West End’s is the prettiest…I like this play structure though. It’s not so huge that your kid becomes overwhelmed with too many things to do. It’s also not too big or too high. I’d say it’s just perfect (which is probably why it’s repeated so often). We went on a lovely fall morning and there were several people eating lunch at the picnic tables. Cute!
